    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir, for allowing me to join my colleagues in congratulating Sen. Halake. The Senator has done exemplarily well considering the fact that on the face of it, people may think that she comes from a marginalised community and gender. She has ascended, walked that path and she is now our celebrity. I congratulate her on her election. I hope that in her tenure, she will ensure that parties, as institutions instrumental in deepening democracy, will have funding and will be run in a sustainable manner. I pray that she will cement the place of women in this society as achievers and as people who serve society without doing things that negate our progress."
