    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. You should have let them go on until evening. I would like to thank all my colleagues especially Sen. Nyamunga for bringing this Statement. I know you have been wanting to do this. I did not realise just how big this position was. I have looked around and I could see that everybody wanted to say something. I will definitely make you proud. I know the mandate of the CMD-Kenya because that is an area that I am good at. Its mandate is to strengthen institutions, make our institutions sustainable and ensure that our political parties claim their position as the enablers, deepeners and wideners of democracy. I will work with the team to make sure that happens. More importantly, I will do this because of the support I have got."
