    "content": "I also want to clarify that ordinarily, presumption of death in our law and also in the common law is given after seven years of disappearance of a person. However, in extreme cases, especially where death is associated with air crashes, drowning in sea or other unfortunate calamities where it is impossible to get the remains of the deceased, a court of law can hasten the presumption of death in less than seven years. However, that has to be through an application in a court of law."
