    "content": "Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, the Committee is also aware of the Statement sought by Sen. (Dr.) Langat on the delay in Disbursement of the OPCT. We have invited Sen. (Dr.) Langat and all those who had questions around the labour and social welfare issues to attend our Committee meeting for the resolution of this. Finally, we wish to inform the Senate that the Committee has invited the Cabinet Secretary (CS) Labour and Social Protection to come and respond comprehensively to the issues that are raised in that Statement together with other issues including; (a) Statement on registration of Persons with Disabilities by Sen. Khaniri. (b) Statement on implementation status of the Government set minimum wage guidelines by Sen. Khaniri; (c) Statement by Sen. Olekina on protection of Kenyan citizens who work in Saudi Arabia. (d) Statement by Sen. Mutula Kilonzo Jnr. On Uber and other digital hailing Apps operating in Kenya. (e) Petition presented by Sen. Kihika on behalf of residents of Nakuru on unlawful rounding up, detention, transfer and dumping of street children by the County Government of Nakuru. (f) Senate resolutions on payment of one-off honorarium and monthly pension to former councillors by Sen. Kinyua. Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, we have extended an invitation to all the Senators above and to all those who might be interested in all these issues to our Committee meeting on Wednesday 24th July, 2019 in the County Hall, Mini Chamber from 10.00 a.m. Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir."
