On his behalf, I would like to encourage the students to enjoy their visit to the Senate and learn how debate is carried out. What is important is negotiation, compromise, agreeing to dialogue and not fighting. I hope that the students will carry home the spirit of negotiation, compromise and dialogue as a hallmark of reaching consensus on issues that might affect them."
