    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker for this opportunity. I thank Hon. John Waluke, the Member for Sirisia Constituency. I am sure the people of Sirisia are very proud to have a Member who can bring such a Motion to the Floor of this House. His Motion seeks to deal with Kenya’s international trade and improve the livelihood of Kenyans. Kenya’s balance of trade is skewed against us. Our trade deficit has been on the rise. Currently, it is at Kshs1.1 trillion and it will continue to rise if this Government will not take time to listen and put in place measures that will help to bring it down. The balance of trade deficit is brought about by the fact that we are importing a lot more than we are exporting. It is not rocket science, but a basic issue of how much we are buying and selling. If we buy more than we sell, then obviously, we stand to lose out as a nation. Today, we want to talk about solutions for the Government, which will ensure that we do not buy more than we sell. The first solution is to figure out how to increase exports to foreign nations. I want to propose the following:"
