"content": "The fact that we have not transferred this Centre is something worth looking at. The particular space centre has been in operation for a long time. I know the Italian Government has put in a lot of resources, but there should be research and development towards empowering Kenyans to take over this Centre. I have heard my colleagues say that this has been one sided; that it benefits one country, but we need to hear more as the idea needs to be continued. The Agreement needs to be supported if there is going to be benefits especially in the area of meteorology."
