    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, Mr. Speaker, Sir, I rise pursuant to Standing Order No.48 (1) to seek a Statement from the Standing Committee on Health regarding the sale of meat laced with dangerous chemicals in Kenyan butcheries. In the Statement the Committee should- (1) State how widespread the practice of lacing meat with dangerous chemicals is, naming the counties that are affected; (2) Explain why Government agencies such as the departments of public health in the county governments, the Kenya Bureau of Standards (KeBS) and the Pharmacy and Poisons Board (PPB) have not made any efforts to ensure that the food, medicines and other products in the market are of good quality;"
