    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, it is difficult to withdraw a statement that is very close to the truth. This is the feeling of the people and their representatives. As I conclude, allow me to raise an issue that is not here, but I think the Departmental Committee should have looked at. It is the issue of displaced persons as a result of cattle rustling. For example, in Turkana South, we have had more than 60,000 people displaced. Recently, we tried to resettle people in two areas in Turkana District. However, we were faced with a lot of insecurity and we lost policemen, Kenya Police Reservists (KPRs) and local people. The efforts we are putting towards this should be considered. These people require to be resettled the same way we have been thinking about the internally displaced communities of the post-election violence. I urge the Government and this House to support us in all areas where we would like to resettle our people."
