    "content": "I was here partly yesterday and I saw the way Hon. Members were discussing this Question. I noticed that there is much research because a lot of land issues, apart from being emotive, are composite in nature. One issue leads to another. I heard Members say that even if you occupy land and live there for a while but you do not have a title deed, you can just be moved from that land. The land question concerns so many issues, such as who occupied it first. There are issues that concern the length of time people have been living there. There are some that go to times of the colonial rule when we had Land Ordinances and settlement of squatters. When we deal with such issues, we have to be very concerned and comb every area of law so that by the time we make a resolution, as Parliament, we do not do so in vain.
