I want to make one clarification for Members to make an informed decision when the day for putting the Question comes. We are not talking about community land. The Report is seeking an approval for only the 876 acres which are privately owned. The recommendation we made and I want to appreciate the contribution by the Member for Samburu West is we need this military camp for our security but we must be in cognisance of the community interests. That is why we are only talking about the 876 acres which are privately owned. Members of this House from Narok County appeared before the Committee and specifically two of them from Narok West and Narok North. They said, and this is in the Report, that they had no problem with the 876 acres which are privately owned, but the problem is the surrounding community land."
