The Public Finance Management (PFM) Act created the Parliamentary Budget Office, which advises the National Assembly and the Senate. I just want to beg our colleagues in the Senate to also respect the very good advice that I know they get from the Parliamentary Budget Office. I am sure they do not get a different set of advice from the one we get. Therefore, it is good to respect the advice that we get from a statutory institution since it was created under the PFM Act."
