    "content": "The challenge we have, and I am saying this as the Chair of the Departmental Committee on Justice and Legal Affairs, is that these institutions do not have enough resources looking at our recent budgetary allocations to the Office of the Attorney-General, which hosts most of the institutions. If you also look at the money allocated to the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP), the EACC and the Witness Protection Agency, you will find that they are very little. The institutions are unable to function as required. When it comes to salaries for their staff, they are also not well paid. So, there is need, as a matter of policy and urgency that enough resources are given to these institutions."
