"content": " Hon. Senators, as you may be aware, M/S. Healthcare Ltd was contracted by the Parliamentary Service Commission to provide medical cover for Members of Parliament with effect from 1st January 2018 to 31st December 2019. One of the deliverables in the contract is for the service provider to conduct health talks for the Members of Parliament. In this regard, the service provider has requested to undertake a health talk to hon. Senators on cancer with a view to demystifying it, apprise Senators on the root causes, preventive measures and treatment for the same. The talk will offer an opportunity for hon. Senators to engage with experts in the field and to address their concerns on the subject. The talk is scheduled for tomorrow Wednesday 31st July, 2019 at 11.00 am, in the Senate Chambers. All hon. Senators are invited to attend this important talk. I thank you."
