    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker for this chance. I join my colleagues in sending my condolences to the families of the late Hon. Ken Okoth – who I knew very well – and Governor Laboso. Hon. Ken Okoth was a strong human rights fighter. He was very articulate and an educationist. He was very loyal to his party. The ODM Party has lost a very loyal person. He loved his party and was loyal to it while at the same time respecting everybody and other political parties. He articulated his issues in such a manner that he gave a lot of respect to the other colleagues. I first met Hon. Ken Okoth when I was a trade unionist on the streets. I found him in the same way that Samuel Baker met John Speke while they were both trying to discover the River Nile. We met when he was articulating the rights of workers from the platform of Parliament and human rights while I was doing so from the platform of trade union. I found him a very good colleague and a fighter for human rights. On behalf of my family, the people of Emuhaya and the teachers of Kenya, I pass my sincere condolences to the families of the late Hon. Ken Okoth and Governor Laboso, who was my mentor. When she became the Deputy Speaker in Parliament, there were a lot of accolades seeing the first woman acting as Speaker in Parliament. Without much ado, I pass…"
