    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me an opportunity to contribute to this Motion. On the onset, I support it because it is recommending the appointment of an independent auditor to audit the Auditor- General. As you are aware, the Office of the Auditor-General is established under Article 229 of the Constitution of Kenya 2010. Likewise, under Article 226 of the Constitution, the National Assembly is bestowed with the duty or power to appoint an external auditor to audit the books of the Auditor-General. Indeed, the watchdog must also have a watchdog. Many of us know that The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
