    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker, for giving me this opportunity. Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to request for a Statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Administration and National Security on the disarmament of National Police Reservists (NPRs) in northern Kenya counties. During the months of April and May 2019, the NPRs from Samburu, Marsabit, Isiolo, Laikipia, Baringo, West Pokot, Elgeyo Marakwet and Turkana counties in northern Kenya were disarmed without consultation with the local leaders of the counties.
