    "content": "Clause 15 seeks to amend Section 26 of the Act to criminalise the use of data produced by the KNBS. That is why we have the research station in Malindi. There are people in the private sector or others who use the data of KNBS without their permission. Therefore, Clause 15 seeks to amend Section 26 of the Act and criminalise that act. Clause 17 of the Bill seeks to amend the First Schedule of the Act that sets out the types of statistics that can be collected by the KNBS, including the various variables under the National Integrated Identity Management System (NIIMS).
