I rise to support this Bill that seeks to align the existing Bill to the current reality not just in terms of constitutional matters but also with regard to what is actually happening now within the world of statistics and data collection. I wish to support what you and Dr. Makali have amplified, that is, evidence-based decision-making. If we want to make a proper decision, we need to obviously have the right data available to us. That way, we can make a decision based on evidence rather than throwing your finger in the air and assuming that you will get it right."
