    "content": "I oppose this Amendment Bill on the basis that we need to have a comprehensive election management regime by looking at all the relevant laws that will support an efficient, free and fair election. At the same time, I ask the committee that was appointed by the former Prime Minister and the President, the Building Bridges Initiative, to hurry up because they are delaying Kenyans. They need to bring a report. One of the issues that have been identified in the nine- point agenda is the issue of elections. They should bring their report, so that we can look at it and work on the issue of elections once and for all."
