"content": "Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, thank you for giving me this opportunity. I stand to support this Bill. This is just an amendment for us to have a selection panel that is going to basically select commissioners for IEBC. We have a gap in the law and it is important that we do the necessary amendments. If there is need for more amendments in the future, we will appreciate that. There is no reason why we should oppose this amendment at this particular juncture just because we feel everybody must be brought on board. It is a process and, through public participation, I am sure other views will be heard. In the interest of time, I support the Bill."
