Pursuant to Standing Order No.44(2)(c), I wish to request for a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations regarding pending bills in respect to construction of single accommodation works for the Department of Defence (DoD). It is of concern that there have been outstanding pending bills with respect to works being undertaken by the DoD on construction of other ranks single accommodation. The project was initiated on or about 2011, covering various stations, barracks and bases. It is against this background that I seek a statement from the Chairperson of the Departmental Committee on Defence and Foreign Relations on the following:"
