    "content": "Mr. Temporary Deputy Speaker, Sir, I also rise to support this Vote and also express gratitude for the good work done by the Minister and his team. I am a direct beneficiary because I am a Member of Parliament for a constituency in Nairobi. I have benefited from the cleaning up of the Nairobi River. We encourage the Ministry to continue to clean it even more. This should be a continuous exercise. There is a great co- relation between the Ministry of Public Health and Sanitation, the Ministry of Environment and Mineral Resources and the Ministry of Water and Irrigation. I encourage the two hon. Ministers that we strengthen the committee that we have so that we can sort out the question of sanitation, especially the emission of waste into our rivers, lakes and ocean."
