    "content": "Madam Temporary Speaker, as I come to the end of my presentation, in this particular conference, there were different groups, workshops and various key issues. Coming on to the fore was the issue of climate change and the need to have it mainstreamed in all Ministry plans with Parliament requiring a certificate of compliance before budgets are approved. There was also the issue of the role of parliamentarians in ensuring cohesive law-making and budgetary oversight on climate related policies. When the issue of climate change came up some years back, it seemed like a far of issue. However, more people are realizing that we live on only one earth.
