"content": " Hon. Temporary Deputy Chairman, that amendment was dropped following the Communication from the Speaker. I have been around here for some time. Whoever has the mandate to draft amendments must not wait for the Speaker to come. This also applies to Motions. When we are in the House Business Committee, we see Motions that do not even make sense. Some amendments are of a money nature. The Member was not here. He has disappeared. It has been printed. The legal department must be very thorough to make sure that it is not the Speaker who will always nullify these things. Members are taught and it becomes part of the learning as we go forward."
