Temporary Deputy Chairman, I beg to move: THAT, Clause 34 of the Bill be amended in paragraph (b) by deleting the word “thirty” and substituting therefor the word “twenty” The justification for this is that any amendment to one budgetary calendar date affects the entire budgetary process. Therefore, changing the date from 15th every year will create a conflict between two documents. Therefore, we propose to delete that and replace it with what we are now proposing so that it avoids conflict in terms of the calendar dates in the budget process."
