In a few minutes, I will welcome the Members of the County Assembly from Trans Nzoia and bring to their attention that this Senate has been investigating the medical leasing equipment. Tans Nzoia County is one of the counties where equipment is lying idle in one of the hospitals. I am reliably informed that the Committee will be visiting them next week. We are counting on them to see that public resources are prudently spent. The country has spent so much money on this medical leasing and that equipment should have helped the people of Trans Nzoia County. A statement from them on this regard will help us in our fight that people procure equipment that is not necessary or when they have procured equipment and have not checked that that equipment is necessary."
