    "content": "In trying to speed the wheels of justice, these innovative mechanisms are critical and important. This is because we know that justice, in the conventional system that we know, is very expensive. For you to go to court, you must have some properly drafted documents called plea deals; you must file them, and sometimes you need a lawyer to read the law, interpret it for you, and then go and argue your case. It costs money. If you lose unfairly, and you want to go to the next level of appeal, it costs money. By the time you reach the Supreme Court, members of the public sometimes find that it is not worth the matter. This is because you are probably pursuing a subject matter of a monetary value of a Kshs1 million, and by the time you are done, a lawyer has creamed off you Kshs5 million. You, therefore, weigh your options and see whether you can put that money to a different use or continue pursuing a principle of justice that is counter-productive to your own finances.
