    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Speaker, Sir. The Lamu Port-South Sudan- Ethiopia-Transport (LAPSSET) Project was supposed to be a game changer in this country. Energy sources like nuclear was predicated upon the operationalization of the LAPSSET corridor. We thought that LAPSSET would lead to sufficient demand for that kind of output. I request the Committee that will look into this matter to look at the loses that we have suffered so far. They should also look at where the project is and report to the House the extent to which it is viable or also tell us if it is unviable. A lot of water has gone under the bridge.
