They are pulling their representatives from the European Parliament, but we are still sending our representatives to the East African Legislative Assembly (EALA), to the Pan African Parliaments (PAP), IPU and to other cooperative legislative arrangements. We seem to be going against the tide. The tide is that of rising nationalism, but we seem to be converging even much more."
