    "content": "Madam Temporary Deputy Speaker, may I appreciate the efforts the Government has made to increase budgetary provision for wildlife compensation from a mere Kshs40 million in the last financial year to the current Kshs200 million in this financial year. This will assist to reduce the backlog of pending human-wildlife conflict claims accumulated for the last two years. It may, however be noted that these funds will not be sufficient once the new forest and wildlife policy and bills are passed and come into effect."
