    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Deputy Speaker, for giving me this opportunity to contribute to this important Motion. I want to thank the Member who came up with this Motion, because it touches on the lives of Kenyans and our people. As we talk of registration of farmers, we also need to think of how we can improve our products. Our country is well known for agriculture. We also get our income through agriculture. So, registration of farmers will help our people because they will have the opportunity to get trainings from stakeholders and the Government. My people will benefit out of this. When we talk of food security, we cannot leave behind sustainable development. When we are talking of food security, as we improve our products, we are supporting the Big Four Agenda. This will also improve productivity in our country and we will have sustainable production. Also, marketing. When our farmers come together in Savings and Credit Cooperative Societies (SACCOs), this will attract foreigners to invest in farming and support our farmers. We also need to educate and sensitise our farmers about farming. Through registration and bringing our farmers together, this will encourage our farmers and will give opportunity to agencies, Non-governmental organizations and the Government to train our farmers. Everything which has an advantage has a disadvantage. We will face some challenges when we try to implement this. We know some cultures will clash with this project. I am aware that the Member who came up with this Motion has done a good appraisal. We want the project to be viable.
