"content": " Thank you, Hon. Speaker. I rise to support this Bill which is intended to assist former Members of Parliament who are all over the country and who served this country diligently during their time and right now, because of the change of time, the pension they are earning does not really support them well. So, they are in real trouble. Once this Bill was tabled in the House on 3rd July 2019, it was committed to the Committee and in line with the requirements of the Constitution; we did public participation by putting the advert on the media on 18th July 2019. Thereafter, we received memoranda from 12 stakeholders. The ones who really participated so much are the former Members of Parliament."
