    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, as I conclude, the Committee intends to carry out the following key activities the next quarter:- (1) The Committee has scheduled visits to Nyamira, Isiolo and Lamu counties. (2) The Committee will hold a meeting with the Council of Governors (CoG) and the Minister of Devolution and Arid and Semi-Arid Areas regarding the budget- making process at the counties. This is because many counties are experiencing challenges between the executives and county assemblies which has resulted in stalemates in the budget-making process. (3) The Committee also intends to have a meeting with the Minister of Devolution and Arid and Semi-Arid Areas on matters of regional blocs. I thank you."
