    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, I hope that this has not been overtaken by events. My intervention is to bring to speed the Chairman of the Committee on Finance on the update with regard to pending bills in the counties. I think this is information is very important and relevant for them to come up with a report. As the Vice Chairperson of the County Public Accounts and Investments Committee (CPAIC), I am very aware that this House is properly seized of this particular matter. The CPAIC has tabled a fiduciary risk report and one of the cross-cutting issues amongst the counties was the aspect of pending bills. During our interactions with the Office of the Auditor-General, we ordered for the audit of all pending bills in the counties and a report has been tabled before the CPAIC, which can be relevant to the Committee that will be charged with the responsibility of addressing this particular Statement.
