    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir, for giving me the opportunity to contribute to this important Motion. I want to remind the Members of this House that some time back, in the year 2017, Kenyans woke up very early to elect us, as their representatives. The power of the people is only demonstrated or exercised once every five years when they have an opportunity to elect leaders and we are supposed to be accountable to them and that is why they rescinded their authority or their power to us. When this happens, it is my considered opinion that we are supposed to exercise the authority of the people for their good and for the good of this country."
