    "content": "Those associations will also enhance the economic well-being and quality of life for farmers. The poorest people in this country are farmers. I am a pastoralist and I rear goats and other animals. If you compare the life of a farmer and a pastoralist, you will see that the worst work to do in this country is farming. I have a small farm in Kitale where I planted some maize last year, but they went to waste. I took it to Turkana and gave my goats because there was no place to sell. So, we need those associations so that they can give farmers purchasing power to buy things with their money."
