    "content": "The Bill also seeks to provide clear mechanism for ensuring that the body or content of a petition is clear. So, as I had said earlier, I support this Bill. I also want to point out that the assemblies are mandated by the Constitution in Article 185 just like the National Assembly is in Article 95 of the Constitution. The country assemblies ought to develop their own legislative agenda. They should also go ahead and enact laws that will help people in the counties. I am particularly concerned about my county of Bungoma. I strongly feel that the Bungoma County Assembly has responsibility to ensure that they undertake legislation on matters that affect the county and that has to do with local interests and cultural issues.
