"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, for protecting me. I do not understand why somebody will say that this in a park while there are settlements which have been there for a long time. If we have laws in this country, did the Inspector-General of Police have a court order to do what he did? This is a country of law and order. We cannot allow somebody to take the law into their own hands and go and destroy property, leave people homeless and they suffer because of somebody’s indiscreet decision. It is important that the people who did this are brought to book and taken to task. If they are civil servants, they should be laid off so that they can answer those issues in a court of law. In this nation, we live together in many places. There are many people from Kitui County living in my constituency and in Garissa County. There are more than 1,000 voters from the Kamba community in Dadaab. Hon. Duale will also attest that there are more than 3,000 Kamba voters in Garissa.
