    "content": "Mr. Speaker, Sir, the very reason why the Government put in place the Geothermal Development Company was to increase the pace of exploration and development of geothermal resources in this country. Currently, we have about 200 megawatts from geothermal resources, but we have a capacity of about 7,000 megawatts. Plans are underway to explore that to the maximum. In the medium-term, that is up to 2013, we intend to develop up to 500 megawatts of electricity from that source."
