    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Chairman, Sir. My Committee is seized of this matter. Today, together with my Vice Chairperson, we had a meeting with the Ministry of Agriculture and Irrigation on the backlog of issues which have emanated from this House and have not been resolved. Apart from the issue of maize, there is also the issue of the Kenya Meat Commission (KMC), where farmers have not been paid to date. It has been agreed that that the CS will be invited. We will let all Members know the day when the he will come to the Committee so that we can raise most of these issues and rest this matter. I promise that we will finish this matter within the next two weeks."
