I would like to inform the Senate Majority Leader that in the previous Parliament, we had some very questionable payments from counties to the Council of Governors (CoG) amounting to billions of shillings. In fact, some counties with starving and dying people were paid Kshs28 million and another one paid Kshs47 million to the CoG. Which money is used to fight even processes of legislation that enforce accountability?"
