"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I am pleased to see we have a Bill in the Assembly to operationalise Article 100 of the Constitution. One of the things I must note is that not many of the women in this National Assembly are speaking to this Bill. This is what they should have spoken about in the last seven or eight years. They have been trying to find means and ways of amending the Constitution. We made response in this Assembly and told them that the Constitution has already given a mechanism through which issues of gender and marginalised communities can be dwelt with. This is the only way in which issues of gender rationalisation and empowerment may be found. All those attempts they have done, and with a lot of respect in my view, have wasted a lot of time trying to beat the horse which does not sleep in the same stable. This is what I would"
