    "content": "Hon. Members, let me give you some little guidance. Article 27 of the Constitution has been quite contentious and deals with the issue of equality and freedom from discrimination. Specifically, Article 27 (4) thereof reads as follows and I quote: “The State shall not discriminate directly or indirectly against any person on any ground, including race, sex, pregnancy, marital status, health status, ethnic or social origin, colour, age, disability, religion, conscience, belief, culture, dress, language or birth.” The electronic version of the Official Hansard Report is for information purposes only.
