    "content": "Once this Bill is enacted, that will be a thing of the past. Our Constitution is clear that political parties must deal with those provisions of the law as they make those registrations. Otherwise, anybody can go to court and challenge their decision. Because of that, I want to appreciate the Committee for its efforts. It is important that all the laws that need to be amended are clearly amended. The beauty of this is that it provides for a monitoring mechanism that will ensure that, 10 years from today, we will be able to gauge whether we have achieved what Article 100 of the Constitution intended this nation to achieve. I like that proposal of monitoring by the council that has been incorporated in this Bill. I hope that once this Bill is passed, all the issues that have been raised here, especially on nomination of Members to Parliament and the county assemblies, will be sorted out and will be followed. Special interest groups will have rightful representation of their interest in the two Houses of Parliament. Thank you."
