"content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker. I appreciate that I have the time to support the Bill. Our Constitution is clear and wholesome. Therefore, Article 100 of the Constitution requires Parliament to enact legislation that promotes the representation in Parliament of minority groups, in particular, people with disabilities, the youth, ethnic minorities and marginalised communities as well as women. Given that that Article is already in provision, it is way overdue. The year 2015 was the expected date within the five years that this Bill should have been proposed and legislation put in place. I have a very short time to speak on this. Ethnic minorities will be considered in our Constitution."
