    "content": "Thank you, Mr. Deputy Speaker, Sir. I wish to support this Statement. I suggest that as the Statement goes to the relevant Committee, they should look at the issue of the law that was enacted on cattle rustling which criminalized it with the hope that certain actions will be taken. It would be good to know what impact that law has had since it was enacted. From both the Statement and Petition, it seems like what we had about three years ago is coming back. I know that the Joint Committee on National Cohesion and Equal Opportunities did a lot of work. They went around the various communities and created many initiatives to create peace within these communities. There was a time where there seemed to be some improvement. So, there could have been a gap somewhere or something is resurging again.
