    "content": " Mr. Speaker, Sir, I beg to reply. (a) The amount of maize currently held as SGR is 3,082,397 bags each weighing 90 kilogrammes. (b) In this financial year, the Ministry has a budgetary allocation of Kshs1 billion for the SGR. At the current price of Kshs1,500 per bag, that amount can purchase about 666,666 kilogrammes of a 90 kilogramme bag of maize."
