    "content": "The purpose of this Report is to respond to a prayer made by the Executive. The Joint Committee having considered all the views collected observed that the approval of a legal notice to effect the variation of the boundaries of Mt. Elgon Forest Reserve was passed as a Resolution of Parliament upon recommendation by the Kenya Forest Service (KFS) Board pursuant to Section 34 of the Forest Conservation and Management Act 2018. We discussed that the recommendations by the KFS Board should be guided by the following when considering the variation of the boundaries of Mt. Elgon Forest Reserve."
