    "content": " Thank you, Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker for giving me this opportunity. First, I want to thank Hon. Bashir who has brought the Livestock and Livestock Products Marketing Board Bill. I am glad to learn that the blood Hon. Sankok has talked about can actually produce fertiliser. I have equally learnt that bones can be crashed to produce food. Equally, Hon. Members have spoken about creating a board, more particularly, to promote the marketing of animal and livestock products. Hon. Temporary Deputy Speaker, we do not want to create a board that is not strong enough. That is because we have very many boards lying idle all over the place. For example, we have a company called Kenya Meat Commission which has literally impoverished the livestock farmers. It is virtually dead.
